Subtle and smart. The pace is very comfortable. Gradually unfolding storytelling. Impressive character development. Vivian Hsu and Ying-Hsuan Hsieh perform so well that their roles are almost undistinguishable from their previous roles. Vivian Hsu's good performance is really surprising: the sun rises from the west.

7分。女性、婚姻、家庭，說不盡拍不完的長青題材，劇本善於擯棄煽情和做作，可以回甘。遺憾的是，敘事上想塞的東西太多，提純一下更好，略為散亂導致陳先生後半生跟蔡小姐的那段情欠缺味道，陳先生角色是否鮮活對於“諒解”其實不可或缺，同時這恰恰讓蔡小姐步入殯儀館的結局顯得欠缺“和解”的有力烘托，可惜了一個閉環。
