題材是悲壯往事，為姚子青將軍及其六百壯士立傳，算是功績。至於影片，中規中矩，可能是投資所宥吧，國產電視劇的級別。

影片就像一係列無法連成線的斷點，連劇情簡介都比正片信息量大，不斷出現的蘇俄歌曲則反客為主，將人物與故事淹沒，組成大型Live現場串燒，導演自我沉醉不能自拔，觀眾全程圍觀一臉懵逼，最後這輛藍色列車完全失控。

Some scenes are not reasonable. I don't see why corps can fire with the crowds around in the downtown area. Also I don't see why the general can still hold his position after the bio-hulk soldier lost control killing and destroying the whole city. Good story-telling though.

張大磊拍電影沒問題，人也沒問題，拄著拐杖在平遙跑來跑去特別可愛但又滑稽，不過劇本的推進確實需要加強了。
